Hear noted Cornell University historian as she weaves the tale of anorexia across time and helps illuminate what we are still facing, inspiring us to help young women find their voices and speak up for body affirmation.

Work with others -- in large and small groups -- through discussion and experiential exercises -- to take what inspires you back to your personal and professional life.

Objectives:

  • Learn about the evolution of Anorexia Nervosa
  • Understand changes in treatment modalities across time
  • Assess the relationship between culture and eating disorders in, past and present
  • Identify ways to impact treament incorporating this richer historical perspective
